Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar
Upon landing in Zanzibar, you’ll collect your luggage and meet a private taxi that will drive you to the northern village of Nungwi, famous for its white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. After checking into your hotel, you’ll have time to relax and take a peaceful stroll along the beach. Nungwi is known for its fresh and affordable seafood, so dinner will be a treat as you enjoy the local cuisine by the shore. Day 2: Exploring Nungwi Village and Swimming with Sea Turtles
After a restful night, you’ll wake up refreshed and ready to explore more of Nungwi. Following breakfast, take a leisurely walk through the village, where you can experience the laid-back atmosphere and see local life unfold. Day 3: Snorkeling and Dolphin Adventure at Mnemba Island
After breakfast, you’ll head to the beach for an exciting half-day boat tour to Mnemba Island. The tour operator will provide you with everything you need for the trip, including a mask, snorkel, and fins. The boat will take you to the vibrant coral reefs surrounding Mnemba Island, known for their rich marine life.

You’ll have the chance to see, smell, and even taste a variety of spices like cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla, as well as tropical fruits grown on the farm. Day 5: Full-Day Boat Tour to Prison Island and Nakupenda Beach
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you’ll take a short walk to the nearby Stone Town beach to embark on a full-day boat tour. Your first stop will be Prison Island, famously known for its giant tortoises that can live over a century. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to see these magnificent creatures up close, as well as explore the island’s fascinating history, which includes its past as a prison for rebellious slaves.
